MUSIC at WakeFest
Friday August 22nd
9pm The Black Sheep Inn $10
Peirson Ross and The Wilderness, with special guest Mike O’Brien
web presence: www.peirsonross.com
Peirson Ross and his untamable flock of musicians known as The Wilderness are heading to the one and only Black Sheep Inn. Following recent appearances in Europe, NYC and Toronto’s NXNE Conference, Peirson has recently taken up residency at TO’s Drake Hotel where his modern day spirituals feed the weary weekly. The strong response to his latest album - a boy caught on words – has led to Peirson’s songs being included in several film and television soundtracks. Known for his stark and down-home delivery, come witness as he and the band gather around their table to deliver what CBC radio has called “an unforgettable live music experience”.
muses: Neil Young, Richie Havens, L. van Beethoven
